At the age of 6, I attended my first wedding as a lace clad bridesmaid, and loved it, I have been involved in celebrations ever since. From lace to leopard print I have loved every minute. Indeed, arranging birthday 
tea parties, and singing at over 60 weddings with the choir at my local church and Wakefield Cathedral, as a youngster - to creating personal wedding and birth celebrations throughout the decades too.
Also, during my long and successful professional career I have travelled the world as a Corporate Business Development Trainer, and Event speaker, winning National Awards and meeting the most amazing people. So, as a Professional Family Celebrant too, it felt like a natural extension to my career. As a result, I have been personally involved in a multitude of events, for many people, all over the UK/Europe and I have even conducted my eldest daughter, my nieces and my best friends weddings, plus family funerals, Celebrations of Life, and naming ceremonies too.
I have designed, created and conducted many fabulous Weddings for new friends too, and especially love bringing symbolic elements into these celebrations. My favourite venues veer towards the quirky, so you may find me in a Tee Pee, or alongside a canal marina, or perhaps in a woodland setting or especially an historic mansion or hall, with fabulous gardens ...
I have also supported the delivery of many Funeral services, Eulogies and Life Celebrations at the funerals and memorials of many local people and of my beloved family members and friends. It's always hard to say goodbye, we do so with love and respect and with a focus on a celebration of Life.
As a trained and accredited Grief Advisor, I havebeen able to help and also support the families of many of our lost loved ones.
I know I will be a Celebrant for life, there is nothing else I would do that would replace
the rewarding and supportive role, being a Celebrant brings.
