For a standard cremation service, this includes a 1 hour initial meeting with you to discuss and agree what you want included in the service and the part you want myself and others to play. This usually includes, agreeing music, poems or reading and an individual and personal eulogy. Photo's can often be included and shown in the background. You will then get my full support throughout the design and delivery of your unique and personal service.
If my services are booked through your Funeral Director, the pricing ( typically £200 to £250) is usually included in their fee your Funeral Director charges, and they then create their contract with me. This is standard procedure for all Funeral Directors. At initial consultation with them, you simply inform them that you have asked me to create and conduct your ceremony. This happens regularly and allows you to chose your celebrant personally. You can use someone the Funeral Director recommends too, the price is still the same, and they may chose from a number of people they use, or just who is available.
For a more individual service or memorial, this will be priced according to the type of ceremony or event, and the ceremony can often be in addition to the regular standard or Direct cremation or burial.
With a completely personalised ceremony, such as a Celebration of Life event, my services will represent a unique ceremony, based on the life of your loved one, and your own or the wholefamily’s wishes for them.
I DO NOT deliver a formula-based ceremony. I do not deliver more than 2 services a day, this ensures you get my full focus and attention, for your personal service. Every element is attended to with meticulous focus to your unique needs.
My services can include
- A family meeting to discuss your wishes and to agree content for your service
- Family speaking arrangements
- Music recommendations
- Gathering information for the eulogy, then writing and sending to you for approval
- Create your ceremony and order of service, including timing
- Committal details
- Create or agree scripts for others to read, if wanted
- A full walk through prior to ceremony in person or by phone or online
- Family support and guidance at your service
